Trainee tree planting campaign promotes team spirit

More than 40 trainees from our training cooperation with Hirschvogel Eisenach GmbH and HFP Bandstahl GmbH jointly carried out a tree planting campaign last Thursday. 

A total of 300 trees consisting of 150 wild cherries and 150 red oaks were planted on an area of just under one hectare, which had been damaged by storms in recent years. The action was organised in cooperation with the Thuringian Forest and the Schutzgemeinschaft Deutscher Wald.

The trainees were divided into groups, each with a supervisor from the Thuringian Forest. They learned not only how to handle the trees properly, but also why these trees were chosen. 

It was great to see how committed our trainees were to the cause. The tree planting campaign not only made an important contribution to environmental protection, but also strengthened team spirit and cooperation among them.
