The PowerMill is a high-speed cavity milling system for plastic cards in preparation for the chip module implanting process. This modular and very efficient system is designed for medium to high volume production of high-quality smart cards in a very economical way. Available with a number of options, the system adjusts to all requirements for milling of cavities and/or antenna connection pads.

The system can be equipped with up to two milling stations for high productivity. A milling station with antenna recognition system and automatic antenna continuity check makes the system perfect for dual interface card production.

Flawless card production with highest quality and yield is guaranteed by automatic inline quality control and testing. Various options are available: Checking of card orientation, cavity depth, antenna continuity and module quality. Processing patterns for cavities can be created easily and quickly with the sophisticated design software “Easy Create”.
