As part of the introduction of the country’s new electronic travel documents and the production of driving licenses and ID cards, the Iranian government has made its decision – personalization systems from ruhlamat are the answer.

Thanks to two personal identification systems of the type LP2100, the company instructed by the Iranian government is in a position to personalize e-passports extremely rapidly, with all the biometric data, optical and electrical.  In this situation, advantage can be taken of a special color printing solution which allows for a throughput of up to 1,000 passports per hour to be achieved. As well as this, the customer has also ordered three additional chip card machines for the production and personalizing of Iranian driving licenses and ID cards. In the near future the card bodies will be milled and implanted by an MS330-2, and personalized by two MS150-2 units.
